core subject tutor
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Core Subject Tutor to join our team. Working primarily at our Thurston site amongst our other specialist facilitators. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in theory and practice of Core Subjects at GCSE level, have a commitment to educating children and possess the ability to communicate effectively with students of varying abilities.
Mentor / SEN Support Worker
For some children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, attending school can feel impossible. Overwhelming classrooms, limited resources, and a lack of personalised support can result in them becoming disengaged or unable to attend entirely. That’s where you come in. The Reconnect Programme is looking for passionate, experienced individuals to work directly with these young people—offering them meaningful, engaging enrichment experiences outside of the traditional school setting.
Design & Technology tutor
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Design & Technology Tutor to join our team. Working primarily at our Thurston site amongst our other specialist facilitators. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in theory and practice of Design & Technology at GCSE level, have a commitment to educating children and possess the ability to communicate effectively with students of varying abilities.
hospitality & catering tutor
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Hospitality & Catering Tutor to deliver engaging, practical, and accredited learning experiences. You will support young people to develop essential culinary skills, industry knowledge, and employability skills within a safe and structured environment. This role will be carried out primarily at our Thurston site amongst our other specialist facilitators. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in theory and practice in the industry, have a commitment to educating children and possess the ability to communicate effectively with students of varying abilities and SEND. Sessions take place during school hours, and happen between 3–5 times per week, during term-time only.
plumbing tutor
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Plumbing Tutor to deliver engaging, hands-on vocational sessions to young people aged 11–25. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping learners develop practical plumbing skills, industry knowledge, and confidence in a supportive environment. Working primarily at our Thurston site amongst our other specialist facilitators, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in theory and practice plumbing and have a commitment to educating children and possess the ability to communicate effectively with students of varying abilities and SEND. Sessions take place during school hours, and happen between 3–5 times per week, during term-time only.
electrician tutor
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Electrician Tutor to join our team. Working primarily at our Thurston site amongst our other specialist facilitators. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in theory and practice in the Electrician trade and have a commitment to educating children and possess the ability to communicate effectively with students of varying abilities and SEND. Sessions take place during school hours, and happen between 3–5 times per week, during term-time only.
bricklaying tutor
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bricklaying Tutor to join our team. Working primarily at our Thurston site amongst our other specialist facilitators. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in theory and practice in the Bricklaying trade and have a commitment to educating children and possess the ability to communicate effectively with students of varying abilities and SEND. Sessions take place during school hours, and happen between 3–5 times per week, during term-time only.
Construction tutor
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Construction Tutor to join our team on a self employed basis. Working primarily at our Thurston site amongst our other specialist facilitators. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in theory and practice of various construction industry specialisms including Electrician, Brick Laying, Carpentry and a commitment to educating children and possess the ability to communicate effectively with students of varying abilities and SEND. Sessions take place during school hours, and happen between 3–5 times per week, during term-time only.
